Thanksgiving dinner in Los Angeles
4 LA Hotels Serving Thanksgiving Feasts This November

Happy Thanksgiving from LA Insider Tours

Traveling somewhere other than home for the holidays comes with a lot of perks. You can save money on flights by traveling on actual holidays (so, for example, Thanksgiving Day versus the day before). Many hotels offer Thanksgiving savings. And, to top it all off, the tourist crowds are often down, so you can enjoy a little more of a destination at your own pace.

However, don’t think that just because you’re traveling over the Thanksgiving holiday that you have to give up everybody’s favorite part of the day — the food. You can find many eateries around Los Angeles serving up Thanksgiving feasts this November. If you choose one of these four Los Angeles hotels, you won’t even have to go very far to chow down! Here are four fabulous Los Angeles hotels serving a rave-worthy Thanksgiving meal.

1. The Peninsula Beverly Hills

Dine either in The Peninsula Beverly Hill’s Belvedere restaurant or The Living Room. Thanksgiving meals are served 11:30 a.m.–8 p.m. on November 28. The menu is delectable, with items like butternut squash risotto, creamed corn chowder and turkey with sage stuffing and pinot noir cranberry sauce. Plus, the adults in your party will enjoy free-flowing Nicolas Feuillatte Champagne throughout your festive meal. For reservations, call  +1 (310) 975 2736.

For those of you who just want to stay in, they also have a stunning Thanksgiving at Home service that includes the same goodies served at the hotel.

2. Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills

Enjoy a range of Thanksgiving treats when you dine at Sofitel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills. The hotel’s acclaimed restaurant, Cattle & Claw, serves up holiday classics like butternut squash soup and turkey, but you’ll also have the opportunity to try one of the restaurant’s best sellers of the season — its scrumptious lobster mac n’ cheese. The meal ends with your choice of tantalizing desserts (obviously, pumpkin pie is an option).

3. Shutters on the Beach

Head to Santa Monica for a lovely stroll around the neighborhood to get your appetite up. Then, scurry on over to one of our favorite hotels, Shutters on the Beach, for your Thanksgiving meal. The lovely 1 Pico restaurant serves Thanksgiving favorites to Los Angeles foodies, 11:30 a.m.–10 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. The menu promises yummy appetizers such as roasted squash with burrata and brown butter, organic turkey with sweet potato mash and cranberry apple bread pudding for dessert. Have a vegetarian in your party? They’ll enjoy digging in to a plate of pappardelle pasta with wild mushrooms ragu and black winter truffle.

4. The Beverly Hilton

Can’t make a Los Angeles Thanksgiving meal work for you on the actual holiday? Can’t find a Thanksgiving menu that fits your vegan appetite? Stop in to The Beverly Hilton, Nov. 23–24, for an all-vegan Save the Turkey Brunch served 11 a.m.–4 p.m. Of course, a classic Thanksgiving dinner is offered at Circa 55, too, 5 p.m.–10 p.m. on the day of. Expect a wide array of seafood and sushi, soups and salads, obviously the turkey and your favorite sides like garlic mashed potatoes and cornbread stuffing.

So don’t go thinking there’s no Thanksgiving just because you’re on vacation in LA.  It’s more like Thanksgiving PLUS with these great options — with NO dishes or crazy uncles!

  • “Don’t Hesitate….Just Do It!!”

The tour was a lot of fun and he even took us to less well known spots for some great photo ops! Definitely recommend doing and would absolutely do another tour with these guys when next back in LA!

  • “Perfect fit for our family!”

Our tour was AMAZING. This is one of the most professional companies I have ever had the pleasure of working with. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

  • “LOOK NO FURTHER”

I can recall doing a bus tour of LA a number of years ago, and that tour did not remotely compare to what we experienced with our number one guide Rivers. Our family of four, including two boys aged 13 and 10, had the best day possible.

  • “Worth the Splurge”

Eight hours seems like a lot of time, but the day just flew by. It was so fun and interesting. I would do this again with no regrets.

    The Kozars, Lethbridge, Canada

  • “Great family day”

A big thank you to Scott for our fantastic LA tour!! We got all the sights in, in one day including a last minute shop @ Dash!! Scott was full of information and my family including my 3 year old had a fantastic day!! Highly recommend !!
