Universal Studios & Disneyland Tips for Travel Agents
When setting up a trip to Los Angeles for your clients with families, we know how important a stop to one of our major theme parks is a must. Not only do we recommend our parks, we also have some great tips and tricks that will help you plan an amazing theme park experience for your clients. Below are some great tips for two of our most popular destinations – Universal Studios and Disneyland.
Universal Studios
One of the best things about Universal tickets is that there are different levels of tickets you can purchase. General Admission, Front of Line Admission and the VIP Experience. For General Admission, it is admission to the park and a fun filled day at Hollywood’s favorite amusement park. The front of the line tickets are perfect for those families who hate to wait in long lines. They guarantee that you will be moved to the front of the line for all of the attractions the first time you want to go on them. If you want to take a spin on a certain attraction for the second time, however, you will have to wait with everyone else. Finally the VIP Experience is the most exclusive ticket and comes with your own personal tour guide, front of line access to all attractions, a special breakfast AND lunch as well as special backlot access. All of these tickets can be purchased in advance of your clients arrival at the park!
Disneyland
For many families coming to Los Angeles, Disneyland is a must. While they don’t have front of the line tickets to buy ahead of time, you can do some things ahead of time to make the park a great experience for your clients. If your client is interested in a dining experience with the characters (a fun and unique time), then you should make reservations at one of the many restaurants they have in and out of the park as soon as you can. Disneyland dining accepts reservations for these attractions up to 60 days in advance. Additionally, you can advise your clients on which hotels are best for your clients to stay in in Anaheim. Obviously there is the Disneyland Hotel and the Californian right next to the park property. There is also the Paradise Pier hotel, which is another Disney resort next to Downtown Disney. All 3 resorts have extra perks for staying there including priority dining reservations and possible early park entry. If your clients are interested in early park entry, then you should get them a 3 day pass, which includes early mornings. This means that they can enter the park before anyone else and start on their magical day first thing.
