Pop Star Pink Seen Cycling on Venice Beach
Pop star Pink and her man Corey Hart were seen biking on beach cruisers along the bike path of Venice Beach yesterday.
It is the same path and the same type of bicycles we use when we take our groups on our popular Teens and Tweeners Tour, which has become one of our biggest selling Los Angeles Tours.
That tour takes you through all the Los Angeles and Hollywood hotspots, but is ideal if you have younger travelers in your group. We see the stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, the Chinese Theater, the Dolby Theater in the Hollywood Tour portion, then its off to the Sunset Strip, star homes on Mulholland Drive, Beverly Hills, and Bel Air, Rodeo Drive, the Farmers Market, and then off to the beach!
The Venice bike path is a continuous biking path that is flat and paved and very easy for riders of all ages. It is about 8.5 miles long and goes from the Manhattan Beach area north along LAX, then Marina Del Rey, Venice Beach, and then past the Santa Monica Pier well into Santa Monica.
You can see the personalities of the different communities change along the ride. Manhattan is a high end beach town, which changes dramatically when you pedal past Venice Beach, with Muscle Beach and all the crazy activity that goes on in the area where the hippies used to roam in the 1960s.
Going further you run into Santa Monica, which is tamer with more locals and a more family friendly atmosphere. Ride up onto the pier to see fun street performers, Bubba Gump Shrimp Co., all the way to the end where you might catch a glimpse of dolphins, sea lions, or even a great white shark!
We generally ride from Windward Avenue in Venice Beach up to the Santa Monica Pier, and everyone who rides it says it’s the highlight of the day! It comes included with our Teens and Tweeners Tour but don’t be afraid to ask to have it included in your tour — all of our tours are private, custom tours and we can add the bike ride for you if you like.
What better way to end your Los Angeles Tour with a bike ride on the beaches that have been seen on TV and movies for decades!
