And just because you are on a budget, it doesn’t mean that you have to sacrifice quality and comfort during your stay. Best Western – Sunset Plaza
You know the saying – location, location, location? Well, you can’t go wrong with this location. While staying in Beverly Hills on a budget is not the easiest thing to do, you get a great compromise with The Best Western Sunset Plaza in West Hollywood, which is very close to Beverly Hills. Additionally, it’s location along the infamous Sunset Strip makes it a fantastic place to easily get to all of the tourist hot spots. This Mediterranean inspired property boasts a gorgeous pool area and comfortable accommodations. The staff are helpful, the rooms are clean and it is close to great restaurants. The perfect hotel for those on a budget, but looking for something more.
Bayside Hotel – Santa Monica
If you are looking to stay near all of the great attractions that Santa Monica has to offer while on a budget then the Bayside Hotel is a solid choice. Located within walking distance to the pier and Third Street Promenade, Bayside Hotel offers a variety of nice rooms to choose from. While a little more expensive (but definitely not as expensive as some Santa Monica hotels), some of their rooms have a great view of the ocean. The staff is helpful and the rooms are nice and bright.
Doubletree Hotel – Downtown LA
Budget hotels don’t have to come at the cost of comfort and the Doubletree Hotel in Downtown LA is proof of this. The fact that this is a part of the Hilton hotel chain, means that their standards are high and their staff is knowledgeable. It is walking distance to some great attractions including Little Tokyo, Staples Center and LA Live. They also have a town car service that will take you to any location within a 3 mile radius. While the weekends are a bit more expensive, you can find a great rate on the weekdays and you won’t be sorry you checked it out.
The Orchid Hotel – Hollywood
Hollywood is such a fun town to stay in. There is so much to do and see and there is nothing better than staying in the heart of it. This is why the Orchid Hotel is a great choice. A hop, skip and a jump away from Hollywood Boulevard and the Hollywood & Highland complex. The rooms are nice and the some of them even have a kitchenette. If you have an early flight and want to stay close to the airport, then the Holiday Inn Express at LAX is a good choice to hang your hat for the evening. Plus, LAX is conveniently located to the beach cities if you have time for a little excursion during your stay. If not, you will still find a good night’s sleep and be raring to go wherever your plane might be taking you.
