Jackie Chan Get His Handprints at the Chinese Theater

Jackie Chan was added to the impressive list of celebrities who have sunk their hands and feet into the wet cement of the Chinese Theater yesterday. There are close to 250 celebrities honored in the forecourt in this fashion, and Jackie Chan is the first Chinese star to be enshrined.

This is the second time for Chan to leave his handprints at the theater. He first did so in 1997 while promoting the film Rush Hour, but the slab was lost in an ownership change and refurbishment. This time let’s hope it sticks.

Jackie imprinted his hands, feet, and nose into the cement.

We Crashed Kim Kardashian’s Baby Shower!

Kim Kardashian had her baby shower on Sunday, and we took one of our tours there! Ashley and friends were in from New Jersey and mentioned they were Kim Kardashian fans. Our guide Scott gave them a great Kim adventure — he took them right to where her baby shower was held in Beverly Hills. They got to hang with the paparazzi as they staked out the gathering. They even got to talk with mom Kris Jenner’s sister Karen — apparently she was a little nutty.

Also in attendance at the party were the other Kardashian sisters, Kelly Osbourne, Mel B and Maria Menounos.

Arrested Development Banana Stand At the Grove Today!

Today you could have gotten a frozen banana at the Bluth’s Banana Stand at the Grove! The Grove is one of our regular stops, it’s a great outdoor mall and a favorite for celebs to shop and be seen. They also film the show Extra Hollywood there on weekdays and many of our lucky guests have seen Mario Lopez interview 50 Cent, the Jersey Shore cast, Rikki Lake and others.

“There’s always money in the Banana Stand.” Can’t wait for Arrested Development’s return in a week!

Marina Del Rey Beach Shuttle Starts Up May 24

To make life easier for those of us exploring the beaches, the Marina del Rey Beach Shuttle will be operating again this summer.

The Beach Shuttle from Marina Del Rey to Venice Beach Pier kicks off on May 24. It will go from Marina del Rey to Playa del Rey and the Venice Beach Pier. It will operate from 10 am to 10 pm Fridays and Saturdays and 10 am to 8 pm Sundays.

CicLAvia Takes Over Venice Beach

Yesterday a part of LA ditched the cars and went the way of the bicycle in the 10th CicLAVia event. CicLAvia is held biannually and is meant to give traffic-stressed Angelenos a break from gridlock. The specified route is closed to vehicles, making the street safe for biking, walking, skateboarding, you name it. It’s a temporary park established on LA’s normally crazy streets.

The event yesterday stretched from Olvera Street in downtown LA all the way to Venice Beach — 15 miles in total.

The original Ciclavias started in Bogota, Colombia, as a way to reduce traffic and pollution in that city, and the concept has spread throughout Latin America and now since 2010 to LA.

The next scheduled CicLAvia will be on Wilshire Boulevard on June 23.

Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler Sighting

We spotted a lot of commotion in Beverly Hills the other day — the usual, photogs following a well-camouflaged couple. We took a better look and saw that it was Vanessa Hudgens! Apparently she’s no longer with Zac Efron as she was with another guy we didn’t recognize. I did a little digging and saw that the guy was her new boyfriend Austin Butler who stars in The Carrie Diaries. Word is they were lunching at Caffe Roma just a block over from Rodeo Drive.

Pillow Fight! Angelenos Descend on Pershing Square in Los Angeles to Pound Feathers

Pershing Square was attacked by marauding pillow warriors in honor of Pillow Fight Day 2013. Feathers flew as hundreds arrived with bedtime accessories on hand to pound tue feathers out of each other and their pillows.

Lindsay Lohan Litters Her Cigarette, Crazy Person Buys it and Smokes It

If you’ve taken one of our tours you know that a frequent topic of conversation is everyone’s favorite mess, Lindsay Lohan. Well, even if you’re a mess like her I guess celebrity is still worth something.

Lindsay was spotted at LAX and tossed her half-smoked cigarette on the ground. A vigilant paparazzo spied it and picked it up — only to have what can only be described as a crazy person offer to buy it. Why not, the photog surely figured, and the deal was done for $5. The loony buyer happily walked off, smoking Lindsay’s trashed cig. It’s LA!

Photos popped up all over the web of Kim Kardashian and her baby bump as she exits her house — the same one we show our guests on some of our tours! It is the same house featured in some of her reality shows. It’s a touch out of the way, but if you are in to Kim K we can bring you there — just ask. Kim and Kanye West had purchased a 10,000 square foot mansion in Bel Air — but promptly sold it while it was still in escrow for $1 million more than they paid for it!

Word is she has sold the house but she and Kanye West are living there while they look for new digs.
